I was born and lived in Tokyo before coming to Perth in 1996.
I grew up in a family that ran various restaurants in Tokyo and this passion for cooking has been passed down through my family.
I worked mainly in the hospitality industry. I also taught Japanese for 4 years at private high school in Perth before returning to Japan in 2004 for 7 years.
I am a mother of two teenage daughters and one young son, I spend a lot of time in my kitchen to satisfy my young foodies.
In my daily life, I don't just cook Japanese food, I cook all sorts of food, Italian, Asian, BBQ etc, especially Chinese.
I am not a professional chef, I just LOVE cooking ! My cooking class is for those wanting to learn to make sushi and cook homestyle tasty Japanese meals.
I would love to share the pleasures of Japanese cooking with you 😊

Due to time restrictions and the size of our class, we don't have a sit-down meal at the table after cooking, instead we focus on cooking and have a taste of the food we just cooked, then you'll be sent home with the meal to share with your family/friends.
